A survey is under way for all fishers, both recreational and commercial, across the UK (excluding Scotland).  It forms part of the SBFC UK project being carried out by The Centre for for Environment Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS).  Note the closing date for responses is 31 December 2018

This is an opportunity for anglers to get their voices heard at an early stage to influence the scientists and decision makers in the years ahead.

CEFAS have been tasked with describing sea bass fisheries on a regional level to help improve future sea bass conservation and management. It intends to use the survey results to help create an accurate picture of regional sea bass fisheries in the UK.  It also wants to underline where there are data gaps to help prioritise its science to best suit the needs of fishers in each region.
